Probably the best place for you to start is the Summer Language Schools, where you can learn Portuguese in an immersive environment over the course of one summer.
If you are a native speaker of Portuguese interested in translation, you should head for MIIS and enroll in the MA in Translation and Localization Management program.
Step 1: You should enroll in an intensive Portuguese language study program at the Summer Language School. Step 2: Consider expanding your studies as a Portuguese major at the College.
Step 1: Study Portuguese for a year or a semester in Brazil in one of Middlebury's immersive linguistic and cultural learning programs. Step 2: After you return, consider continuing your studies as a Portuguese major at the College.
You should enroll in our MA program in Translation and Localization Management at MIIS where you will learn to put your bilingual skills to use as a translator, and open the doors to many interesting careers in your future.
