The department of Luso-Hispanic Studies aims to use current and effective methods of language instruction to push students to acquire expert proficiency in written and aural Portuguese by leveraging its faculty’s diverse experience and research interests in Lusophone literature, arts, philosophy, linguistics and culture. Students may minor in Portuguese or combine their language skills with other academic areas that require a foreign language, such as International Politics and Economics or Global Studies. …more info
